Create a Sectionalism Map

Directions: Draw lines that divide the country into three parts: North, South, and West. Label each region. Fill in the regions of your map with characteristics that symbolize the region. Title the map in the bottom left.

Read the excerpt from "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow." Rewrite the ending or create a comic strip that illustrates the excerpt. You may not use stick figures and you're art must be historically accurate. 8 tiles. Sleepy Hollow read aloud on YouTube (start at 1:03:15).
